Team KidzArt
Cheryl Ziliani, Executive Director
A graduate of The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Certificate in Human Resource Management, Cheryl has spent the last ten years in the financial services industry. Feeling the need to get more involved in her community and thinking it was time for a career change, Cheryl and her husband, Gregg discovered KidzArt. “Art has always been something for me to admire from a distance because I never considered myself exceptionally artistic. KidzArt is such a special program because it brings out the artist in all of us and shows us that we all can produce quality art pieces while having so much fun!”
Cheryl is looking forward to sharing KidzArt with her two young children and can’t wait for them to experience their first class. She brings great enthusiasm for KidzArt and is very excited to be making a difference in the lives of the children in her community.
Antoinette Layton, Community Relations Director
Antoinette has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and has worked for youth serving programs in Central New Jersey for a decade. She has also worked as a business consultant, retail manager and customer service director.
Antoinette’s real love is seeing people discover their abilities. She has always had an appreciation for art and never discovered her own creative desires until seeing what KidzArt did for the kids she worked with. “Upon the first project experiment with my own kids I was enticed. Upon the encounter with adults I wanted more. After experiencing a classroom of elementary school kids express their personal style and confidence, I am an enthusiastic advocate for KidzArt!”
Antoinette has served her community in many volunteer leadership roles. She has been a state firefighter, emergency medical technician, an education instructor and now looks forward to serving the community with KidzArt! KidzArt is a program that offers an opportunity for everyone who participates to be successful, creative and confident with the skills they develop and the life they live.
“I could not be more excited about bringing this creative, enrichment program to my family and the families around our community because if you can dream you can draw!”
Gregg Ziliani, Support Staff
Although Gregg has a full time job in software engineering, he is an indispensable member of our KidzArt team! As a Certified Instructor, he enjoys teaching KidzArt and is very impressed at the quality program it offers to students of all ages. As co-owner, he assists Cheryl with strategic planning and lends his technical expertise whenever needed. Don’t be surprised if you end up seeing Gregg teach a class or two! He’s got real talent and enjoys participating in the classroom program experience.
